Instead of explaining a scientific problem in purely functional terms, we gave it a face. Or rather, a monster.

At Copacino Fujikado Advertising, we believe even the most complex challenges can be made relatable, and maybe even a little entertaining. Case in point: our latest campaign for Revvity Signals. We tackled fragmented lab workflows, a deeply technical issue in scientific research.

“Frankenstack” was born as a physical manifestation of disconnected systems, an unwieldy mashup of mismatched tools, software, and processes that scientists wrestle with every day. Across a series of short digital videos, we showed this creature wreaking havoc in lab environments, dramatizing how inefficient workflows can slow progress and create frustration. Each spot lands on a simple, provocative question: “Is a Frankenstack workflow destroying your science?”

To bring Frankenstack to life, we partnered with VFX studio Bubba’s, ensuring the character felt cinematic, memorable, and just unsettling enough to resonate. Beyond video, the campaign extends into display, conference environments, and even physical swag—like Frankenstack stress balls—giving audiences a tangible way to “defeat” the problem.

This campaign reflects a broader shift in B2B marketing: even highly technical audiences respond to storytelling that feels human. By leaning into humor, metaphor, and strong visual craft, we transformed a complicated message into something immediate and impactful.
