1. Nike Jogger, “Find Your Greatness”

Beautifully written and flawlessly executed.

2. Burger King, “Whopper Freakout”

They got people to show genuine love for their brand by taking away the thing they love most.

3. Burger King, “Bullying Jr.”

Turns out they can go heartfelt with a hidden camera too.

4. Swedish Tourist Association,
“The Swedish Number”

One phone number that randomly connects you with a helpful citizen. Wonderful in its simplicity.

5. Skittles, “Midas Touch”

A big joke played small for maximum comedy. Why can’t every commercial be this good?

6. American Greetings, “Job Interview”

Now THAT’s how you pull off a head fake. And no, I’m not crying you’re crying.

7. Poke, “Baker Tweet”

See, Twitter can be used for good.

8. Volkswagen, “Piano Stairs”

Thanks to this, I had to hear “we just want our piano stairs idea” for a whole year.

9. BMW Films, “The Hire – Ambush”

The first film that launched the series. Showed story matters and that advertising doesn’t have to fit within 30 or 60 seconds.

10. Carrie movie promotion

My only question is did they cover the cost of dry cleaning for people’s pants?

11. TNT, “Push to Add Drama”

Ok, I guess I’m a sucker for hidden camera stunts. But who didn’t absolutely love this idea the first time they saw it?

12. WestJet, “Christmas Miracle”

They could have given passengers an extra bag of peanuts for Christmas, but opted to go a tad bigger.

13. Old Spice, “4th and Touchdown”

Sometimes weird is just weird. And sometimes it’s genius. This is the latter.

14. Unicef, “Tap Project”

The world-changing power of creativity on display.

15. Google, “Parisian Love”

Rarely have I seen a better product demo than this.

16. Sandy Hook Promise, “Evan”

I never saw it coming. Which is exactly the point.

17. Old Milwaukee

The best commercial for the worst beer.

18. Toms, “Virtual Giving Trip”

VR with a purpose.

19. IBM outdoor campaign

I can’t think of a smarter way to execute an outdoor campaign about smart ideas.

20. Addict Aide, “Like My Addiction”

This revealing take on addiction is a brilliant use of a social platform.
