Account Supervisor

Join the Account Management team:

Copacino Fujikado seeks an Account Supervisor with minimum 2+ years as a Senior Account Executive or equivalent. 

This role is tasked with building and maintaining client relationships, identifying and seizing opportunities, and managing increasingly complex projects on time, on budget and on strategy. This position plays a leadership role on the account team, with one or more direct reports, and requires strategic and creative thinking skills. This position will be the lead on small and midsize clients and supports the Account Director on larger clients. 

This role includes, but is not limited to, these core responsibilities:

Client Management

  • Understand your client's business and how they make money
  • Understand your client's brand, what it stand for, and what differentiates it from competitors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within your client's organization. Act as the main point person within the agency for mid- to senior-level clients
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and work with your supervisor to act on them
  • Manage competitive intelligence on media spending and messaging, and ensure this is presented to clients on a regular basis
  • Ensure conference reports are written and distributed within 24 hours of a client meeting
  • Oversee client billing
  • Anticipate what your supervisor requires to lead the account successfully and provide support proactively

Workflow Management

  • Work cross functionally with media, production, insights, and creative to plan for campaigns and ensure they are delivered on time and on budget
  • Work with production to develop accurate scopes of work and realistic timelines
  • Update job progress in Wrike and champion this tool with your team
  • Review work for accuracy and compliance and obtain necessary internal approvals

Strategy & Creative

  • Help make the work better: provide input and direction for briefs, creative concepts, and media plans
  • Actively engage in selling the agency's work (strategy, creative, media plans), defending our strategic rationale with the client when needed
  • Oversee the production of campaigns, leading mid-size video productions with little direction
  • Proactively identify strategic and creative opportunities, working with your supervisor to achieve them
  • Author briefs when appropriate for assigned projects

Supervision & Reporting

  • Facilitate the success of your direct supervisor and clients
  • Manage one or many Account Executives (AE) and Associate Account Executives (AAE), providing training and mentoring to ensure their success
  • Delegate meaningful work, ensuring your AEs and AAEs have clear direction and honest, timely, and ongoing performance feedback
  • Play a leadership role in the hiring of AEs and AAEs, identifying candidates that will be successful at CF based on skills and cultural fit
  • Manage up to your supervisor, keeping them informed of major decisions or issues
